- Martin, a Spring Hill, Tenn., resident since 2002, is semi-retired and a former journalist in a career that included stints as staff reporter for four California daily newspapers and another in Oklahoma. In addition, he has contributed articles to several regional and national magazines. He is the author of a regional best-selling book, "Kern County Sports Chronicles," and his music CD, "Driller Man," is available everywhere.
